We recognize the importance of ensuring that personal information held by My Kinda Love Ceremonies is treated confidentially. We are committed to ensuring that all personal information is only collected, disclosed, used, and stored in accordance with the Code of Practice for Marriage Celebrants (found in Schedule 2 of the Marriage Regulations 2017). In order to maintain privacy and confidentiality, we comply with the following obligations:

a. Respect the privacy and confidentiality of the parties.

b. Arrange for appropriate facilities to interview parties, ensuring the discussion of ceremony details takes place in a private, secure location.

c. Handle personal documents and information appropriately, collecting only what is necessary for the role of an authorized marriage celebrant. Documents belonging to The Client will be returned as soon as practical, unless it is necessary to keep them for the ceremony.

d. Ensure personal information is securely stored, and access is limited to authorized personnel.

​

e. Prevent sharing of personal information except when necessary to provide services or comply with legal requirements.​

 

At any time, The Client may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting My Kinda Love.
